OASIS ART+GIVING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3RD

Oasis Arts had a show-stopping Gala in November! Almost all of our dreams were realized! We know we have an amazingly loving supportive community and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

For Giving Tuesday, we have a few more tricks up our sleeves. We will be continuing the Gala Auction, starting 8am, Wednesday, November 27th! We will be celebrating GivingTuesday all week long. 

About Oasis Arts:

Oasis Arts was born out of necessity - the same necessity that birthed Oasis in 2014 - So much rich potential for art and entertainment bubbling up in the LGBTQ+ community that needed a stage...a home. For a decade Oasis has been that stage, that home, for thousands of performers. It has also been a home, a meeting place, and a party for thousands of audience members who have experienced joy, community and love within our walls. Sustaining such a space isn’t easy. Ticket and drink sales alone aren’t enough to keep our doors open. While Oasis has managed to stay afloat with federal, state, and city grants, along with generous donations from patrons, it became clear that we needed a new way forward. That’s why Oasis Arts was established—to attract donors who believe in our mission and want to help keep this entertainment alive and thriving.

In a year, Oasis Arts supports over 1,500 performers & artists. Through our many programs we offer opportunities, workforce experience, mentorship and support. Our programs include the Living Wage Theater Arts fund, Film Arts Incubator, Visual Arts Fund, Trailblazer’s (LGBTQ seniors), & Community Events. It may not be obvious to Oasis patrons, but Oasis Arts has been helping fund the programming on the Oasis stage and our film production studio for over two years.
