Living Wage Theater Arts Fund
Supporting the Arts with Our Living Wage Theater Arts Fund
At Oasis Arts, we're committed to fostering creativity and inclusivity in the performing arts. Our Living Wage Theater Arts Fund ensures that performers, designers, technicians, and creators are competitively compensated, supporting up to five theater productions each year.
Season Highlights:
SQREAM: Dive into the '90s with our original parody sing-along musical.
D’Arcy Drollinger’s Bitch Slap: Experience the uproarious original work from a drag icon.
Star Trek Live: Featuring a cast of queer, non-binary, and trans performers for an out-of-this-world adventure.
The Rocky Horror Show: Immerse yourself in a fresh take on the classic, encouraging you to not just dream it, but be it.
The Nanny - Drag Parody: Laugh out loud with our drag rendition of this beloved sitcom.
Additionally, our fund supports local queer theater productions through small grants and in-kind donations.
We supported projects like Ray of Light Theatre’s “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie,” Pop Immersive's “Gotham” & “Sunnyvale”, and Beatrice Thomas’ “Black Benatar’s Black Magic Cabaret” and more.
Join us in elevating these dynamic and diverse productions—your support plays a crucial role in our mission. Together, we can keep the arts vibrant and accessible in our community.
Black Benatar’s Black Magic Cabaret performed at SF Oasis in December of 2023. Oasis Arts supported this production by providing rehearsal space, technical support and outreach.
