Film & Video Arts Incubator

Fostering Innovation and Expression

Our Film and Video Arts Incubator is a cornerstone of creativity in the San Francisco Bay Area, designed to support and elevate the voices of queer filmmakers. In collaboration with the San Francisco Film Commission and generously supported by the Kennith Ranin Foundation, this program offers unparalleled resources to artists and production companies.

Facilities and Resources

Located near AT&T Ballpark, our state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot production studio is equipped with the latest in film and video technology. This space is designed to inspire creativity and innovation, providing the tools necessary for filmmakers to bring their visions to life.

Support for Queer Filmmakers

Understanding the unique challenges faced by queer artists in the film industry, our Incubator goes beyond just providing space and equipment. We also offer individual grants to queer filmmakers, helping to finance projects that might otherwise struggle to find funding. These grants are aimed at empowering filmmakers to tell their stories and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive media landscape.

Mission-Driven Programming

Our mission is to not only support artistic endeavors but also to ensure that these endeavors reflect the diverse identities and experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. By providing these critical resources, we aim to dismantle barriers to access and foster a thriving community of queer artists in the Bay Area.
